All excursions offered by Indigo Island Charters leave from Safe Harbor Bahia Bleu Marina in Thunderbolt, GA, on the east side of Savannah.

Our charter boat tours typically start approximately one hour before sunrise and will end no later than one-half hour after sunset. All regular excursions are scheduled to highlight the beauty of our environment, nature experiences, and animal foraging behaviors during the cruise. Other times may be available upon request, contact our captain or expert staff to discuss your cruise opportunities.
Indigo Island Charters operates a 24 foot Sea Pro 245 FLX "Sandbar Boat" ideal for exploring the Savannah River, Wassaw and Ossabaw Sound Estuaries. Capable of carrying ten passengers, our excursions are limited to six individuals guided by licensed captain and mate. All charters are private. Safety gear is provided, however, we strongly recommend sunscreen and wearing multiple layers of light clothing to protect from sun, wind, and cooler water temperatures. Water is provided with a few light snacks, please inform us during reservation of any dietary restrictions or food allergies. Clients are welcome to bring additional snacks or drinks, including reasonable/responsible use alcohol.
